Our Services
Moreno Music Studio is currently offering guitar, bass, ukulele, and trumpet lessons. While I specialize in developing beginner and intermediate level players, I also offer lessons to more advanced musicians. I enable my students to achieve their personal goals through developing a solid foundation and a repeatable practice process all while creating a safe, fun, and encouraging lesson environment. Above all else, I want my students to develop a lifelong love of music and be able to play the music that they connect with.
In-Studio Lessons
I currently have limited spots available at my Bellevue space. Please reach out to learn more about my availability and let’s get to making music!
In-Home Lessons
I am now accepting students for in-home lessons in the Bellevue area. This a great option for busy families who find it difficult to travel to another location for a music lesson. Instead, I’ll come to you!
Online Lessons
Online lessons are an effective and convenient way to learn an instrument! I often encounter skepticism about studying an instrument online, but I assure you that I maintain regular online-only students and have taken many online lessons myself!
Studio Policy

I will provide individualized instruction in a supportive, positive, and patient environment for each of my students. Learning an instrument is a long-term commitment, and I am your biggest supporter on this journey! My goal as a teacher is not only to provide you with the tools and guidance necessary to grow on your instrument, but to instill a lifelong love of music. I tailor my curriculum to meet the needs of each of my students and empower you to achieve your personal goals as a musician.

Students are to arrive punctually for their lessons with their assignments well prepared. Each student must also have their instrument, books, and music. In addition to having the appropriate materials, every student must have their nails trimmed since long nails make it extremely difficult to play effectively. Daily practice is essential to make good progress. I encourage parents to ask any questions they may have regarding practice assignments and how to support your student at home.

*Please note that tuition reserves the weekly time slot, but may not directly correlate with lessons received if the student does not attend the scheduled lesson times.
Flat monthly tuition rates are based on the number of guaranteed lessons in the calendar year. There will be a minimum of 42 lessons offered by the studio throughout the year, and the weeks where lessons are not held (due to holidays, personal performance opportunities, or illness) will be communicated in advance.
Two additional lessons will be built into the calendar, for a total of 44 lessons during the year. In the case of teacher illness, these two additional lessons can be canceled on short notice. These weeks are complimentary in the case that no illness cancellations occur.
All payments are non-refundable. After the first payment, an invoice will be sent 3 days before the 1st of each month, and payment will run automatically. Tuition will be drawn on the 1st of each month from the method on file. All automatic payments will be run through My Music Staff. Auto-pay is the preferred method of payment, and cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc., are not accepted.
If a payment is returned or declined, a 48-hour window will be provided to adjust the payment method and resubmit the payment. Invoices paid after the 3rd of the month will receive a $20 late fee. Recurring late payments may result in the termination of the student’s enrollment.

*In the case of mild teacher illness, severe weather, or other conflicts, lessons may be held online virtually. When virtual lessons are offered, in-person make-up lessons will not be offered. If the student opts out of the virtual lesson that lesson and tuition will be forfeited. Tuition is non-refundable.*
Lessons canceled with under 24 hours' notice will not be eligible for a make-up lesson. Lessons canceled with 24 hours' notice will be credited as a make-up lesson for that month. Make-up lessons do not count as credit for the next month’s tuition. With notice, up to 2 make-up lesson credits can be provided each term, subject to availability. Make-up lessons must be used within 30 days. Excessive cancellations may lead to dismissal from the studio.
Lessons canceled by me will be given as much notice as possible. Teacher cancellations outside of the guaranteed 42 annual lessons will be rescheduled within 30 days.
Tuition is based on the number of lessons the studio schedules and will not be altered. Planned vacations or other conflicts communicated in advance receive a make-up lesson credit for that month. *A student's spot will not be guaranteed for the fall term if they were not enrolled in lessons during the summer term.

To end lesson enrollment for the next month, written notification must be received via email by the 15th of the current month. If notice is not received by the deadline, the full tuition amount will be automatically charged on the first of the month, and students will have the option to attend all paid lessons that month. Lessons will then be canceled for the following month. Tuition payments are non-refundable.

Each student will be responsible for purchasing the required materials for lessons. This can include a method book, sheet music, or different accessories such as picks, a tuner, or a metronome. Once these materials are assigned, students are expected to have them within two weeks.
Each student must have their own instrument to practice with at home. In addition, I also require that each student have access to a tuner and a metronome. There are free metronome and tuner apps that are really effective. However, I do recommend purchasing a headstock tuner over using an app, as these are generally much more accurate. Please reach out to me with questions on what instrument or additional materials to purchase. I am always happy to provide any guidance that I can!
